After years working in construction, Sam Jo quit in order to pursue his dream of opening his own restaurant. He opened Anju in 2018, which he named after the Korean term for “food eaten with alcohol.” The restaurant serves up Korean-inspired comfort food and the bar features soju, makguli, and boricha. The atmosphere is relaxed and invites guests to grab a meal and then linger over a drink.
