Chef Jean Pierre and Chef Kerri Simon opened the original incarnation of Jean-Pierre’s Three16 in 1993 with the goal of creating classic French cuisine with a Northwest spin. Thanks to a combination of using local suppliers, sourcing seasonal ingredients, and creating entrees that require a repeat visit, Jean-Pierre’s Three16 has become a staple of the Olympia/Tumwater community. Returning customers swear by pretty much every thing on the menu but list the mushroom soup, juniper lamb chops, and chocolate torte as must-try selections.
