As Kirkland’s DERU Market became uncontrollably popular, chef-owners Jamie Casady and Jordan Cooper knew they had the capacity to expand, but didn’t want to duplicate their special spot. When a perfect proposal and the space to match came along at the Artere Eco Living building downtown, they knew it was time to open DERU Market’s sibling restaurant, which they aptly named “Little Brother.”

Still on the menu at Little Brother are the seasonal, local, and organic ingredients that first inspired DERU but with more communal appetizers and charcuterie-style boards.
