Savannah Jackson dreamt of sharing her family, food, music, art, and nerdiness so that kids that look like her and her siblings see themselves running a business, being a little silly, nerding out on video games, movies, and enjoying delicious foods and drinks from a variety of cultures in one space. Mixed Coffee is that dream realized. She invites you to visit her space and feel the love and warmth she wants to impart. Savannah and the Mixed Coffee team strive to bring together a mixed community through high quality coffee, teas, and foods.
Bonus: Most of their suppliers are BIPOC owners, including pastries from Zuri’s Donuts!
Visited today and these folks are fantastic. Great service with a smile and actual connection! I had the best gluten free brownie EVER and a yummy cold brew. Will be making more stops here!
This business is an amazing part of the community. Not only do they have yummy food (i.e. pan de yuca, vegan ice cream, etc.) and delicious nerdy themed drinks like Avatar: The Last Airbender tea (Zuko’s Breakfast), they also truly make the space safe for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized community members. It’s a gem that everyone should check out. You’ll like make it a daily or weekly stop.
Great coffee shop vibe! Great for reading and working while enjoying delicious coffee and treats. The mochas are made with real Ecuadorian chocolate and you can choose how sweet of chocolate you want! Baked goods were also delicious! Very LGBTQ friendly and everyone was wearing masks.
