In 1993, Shadia K’David’s mother opened a lingerie and loungewear boutique in Santa Marta, Colombia. As her unique-yet-classic designs gained notoriety throughout Colombia, it became clear that it was time to expand the business. In 2009, Shadia opened a SALUA storefront in Seattle. Today, their house brand is still ethically manufactured at two family-owned workshops in Columbia. Their pieces are sophisticated, mature, and feminine.
