DanVy Vu and Matthew Beavers are bringing an eclectic mix of Vietnamese and Italian dishes to San Leandro. Their restaurant, Top Hatters, was once a beloved hat shop with the same name. DanVy and Matthew decided to keep the name as a nod to the history of the neighborhood. Their approachable dishes draw influence from DanVy’s Vietnamese roots and Matthew’s Italian roots. Top Hatters also has wine, beer, and cocktails that are named after hats.
