In 2007, Bertony Faustin became Oregon’s first black winemaker. His parents, Haitian immigrants, taught him everything he knows about resilience. Today, the winery and tasting room attract hundreds of people every month. Bertony is proud to make wine more approachable through the laidback atmosphere at his winery, and every purchase of “Diva,” “Sleettown,” and “Afrodite” benefits a different local organization!

Fun fact: There was even a movie made about Faustin’s journey as a black winemaker called Red, White & Black.
