Independent curator Tracy Cilona wanted to showcase and sell art and jewelry made by women and LGBTQ artists and designers. So, in 2013, Tracy opened Virago Galley. The gallery gets its name from the Latin word for a female warrior that demonstrates heroic qualities. Whether you’re there to visit the gallery or buy some beautiful goods, the artistic heroes featured in Virago Galley are exceptional.

Bonus: A portion of sales is donated to End the Backlog, a initiative of the Joyful Heart Foundation, an organization focused on helping survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse heal and reclaim joy in their lives.
