The Seattle Womxn’s March aims to mobilize a growing community of people committed to furthering a more equitable, inclusive society where womxn thrive. As you’re making your way to marches, rallies, and workshops in Seattle or beyond, we encourage you to #SpendLikeItMatters.

While tens of thousands of people marching in intersectional solidarity is undoubtedly inspiring, along march routes, passionate crowds can have an unintended negative impact on access to small businesses, including those owned by womxn.

Planning to be on Capitol Hill in Seattle for the march or other events this weekend? Grab a smoothie at Juicebox Café, or a cup of coffee at Semillon Bakery & Cafe or Amandine Bakeshop. Pop in to shops like SugarPill and Retail Therapy. Grab a salad at Plum Chopped, lunch at Oddfellows, or dinner at Marjorie or Terra Plata. Enjoy a cocktail at Wildrose or Montana.

Wondering where to find additional womxn-owned businesses in Seattle? We’ve got you. You can filter the 500+ Seattle womxn-owned businesses on our site by category (type of business) and neighborhood.

For those outside of Seattle, while our presence is smaller (but growing!), we hope that you’ll take a look and then suggest some of your favorite womxn-owned businesses and help us continue to extend the Intentionalist footprint.
