In 2020, Chef Melissa Miranda opened her highly anticipated restaurant that lives and breathes her mission to uplift the Filipinx community and honor Filipinx heritage. The pop-up-turned-restaurant is the result of a successful kickstarter and evident of the strong community she has built. The menu is a collective effort as she wants the young Filipinx chefs in her kitchen to feel connected to and proud of the food they make. All of the culinary magic happens under the roof of a house that can only be described as “distinctly Fillipinx.” In the future, Melissa has plans to host Tagalog classes, music, and pop-ups of other rising chefs. Plan accordingly – the restaurant does not accept reservations.
