| Black Girls Need Sun is a wellness-centered, grassroots organization founded in 2024 with a mission to empower and uplift Black women through sun-rich healing. Our work is rooted in the belief that community and outdoor enrichment are essential forms of resistance and restoration for Black women, whose health, safety, and peace are too often overlooked. We curate experiences, products, and community-centered resources that celebrate softness and radical self-care through connection to the earth.
