TOASTED Bagels & Coffee – South Lake Union

Jaafar Altameemi and Murat Akyuz opened TOASTED Bagels & Coffee in South Lake Union in March 2025 to expand their Mediterranean-inspired halal bagel concept to another Seattle neighborhood. This location brings the same fresh handcrafted bagels, Turkish coffee, and bold flavors from the original U-District shop, featuring signature items like open-faced bagels with date and labneh, hummus-topped sandwiches, and specialty drinks. With a commitment to community, quality, and hospitality, TOASTED South Lake Union continues the founders’ mission of sharing good food and good vibes while supporting local causes.
