What’s your favorite part about the community your business is in & why?
I love that I am surrounded by other independently owned shops and restaurants who support one another! Collaborating with them and other small businesses owners is one of my favorite parts of small business ownership.
Why is it important to you and your business that people #SpendLikeItMatters?
Because in order to keep our neighborhoods and communities unique we have to support small businesses and so small business owners can continue to share their passion with others.
As a business owner, what’s the strangest or craziest idea you’ve ever tried?
I love collaborating with others but I don’t think anything would qualify as crazy… yet!
What’s something your customers may not know about you or your business?
My women’s clothing boutique is named after my grandfathers, Emmet and Roy!
What are some of your favorite local businesses and why?
The Refined closet, amazing neighbors and an absolute treasure hunt every time you go in!
Nick’s on Madison, my husband’s restaurant that just happens to be right next door to my shop! Known as the neighborhood “Cheers” and a great place to spend an evening and find community.
Anything else you’d like us to know about your business?
I was in the restaurant industry in Seattle for 16 years before I opened my shop and this has always been my dream!
