What’s your favorite part about the community your business is in & why?
As a Latino and a person of color, I am happy that I am able to provide excellent healthcare not only to the community of Bonney Lake but to those of color as well. Growing up, I did not see many Latino providers. I wanted to change that. Now, little Latinos can see and say, “Hey, he did it… so can I”!
Why is it important to you and your business that people #SpendLikeItMatters?
When consumers spend their hard-earned money on small businesses, I feel they are investing and giving back to their community. In my small business, I frequently donate and sponsor local events, charities, sports teams, youth activities, and schools.
As a business owner, what’s the strangest or craziest idea you’ve ever tried?
I’ve always dreamed that I would be able to buy a massive mansion and foster/adopt 10s to 100s of kids that need a loving home. I hate the idea of children going hungry or being abused (mentally, verbally, physically). I just want to shelter them all in one big, crazy-filled home where every kid feels loved and wanted. Of course, I would be able to provide quality and much-needed healthcare.
What’s something your customers may not know about you or your business?
We love supporting a great cause. One we really enjoy supporting is called Ali’s Prom Project. They are committed to ensuring the opportunity for every teen to attend prom and other memorable events feeling confident, empowered, and beautiful regardless of financial and personal circumstances.
What are some of your favorite local businesses and why?
We love to eat at Happy Pho Time, TEAlicious (bubble tea), Thian Thai Restaurant, Motus Sport & Spine Chiropractic, Mountain View Chiropractic and Wellness Center, Lamppost Coffee Roasters, Emerald City Smoothie, The Windmill Bistro, Glow Martini, New Appearances Salon, and Faded Cutz Barbershop.
Anything else you’d like us to know about you and your business?
My small business is very inclusive and a judge-free zone. All are welcome and respected.
