This is Jennifer “Jenn” Mason, owner of the body positive and always inclusive sex shop Wink Wink in Bellingham, Washington. Wink Wink is working to banish shame surrounding sexual expression and encourage everyone to better love themselves and others. Jenn says it’s important for her shop to cater to all genders, body types, and sexual orientation and offers non-toxic sex toys, lingerie, books, menstrual-related goods, and educational classes.

What’s something your customers may not know about you or your business?
We are one of the only all-ages sex shops in the nation. It’s really rare, almost all shops are 18 and up. When we opened we decided to be an all ages shop so we became one of the only places in the nation that allows all ages to come in and make purchases.
What’s your favorite part about the neighborhood/community your business is in and why?
We have a really supportive community that has welcomed and embraced the shop. Both our customers as well as other businesses have been very supportive of our business and our vision.
Why is it important to you and your business that people #SpendLikeItMatters?
Spending like it matters to me means supporting local businesses, which means supporting local people, local culture and being able to better support the people who live and work here. When people support our shop they are also supporting independent makers and companies that are making that are making ethically minding products.
