What’s something your customers may not know about you or your business?
Not everyone is aware of all of the services under the umbrella of McGirt Counseling and services. Not only do I provide individual counseling and group sessions, but I also provide group facilitation, and consultation specializing in racial trauma, mental health, crisis response, social justice, and racial equity.
What’s your favorite part about the community your business is in and why?
My favorite part is that my business is part of a collective of other BIPOC therapists who share space with me and also work toward providing healing and a safe space for BIPOC communities. I am also across from a fruit market which has been lovely. Although with Covid I have been working virtually from home, I have popped in from time to time.
Why is it important to you and your business that people support local businesses and #SpendLikeItMatters?
It is important for me and my business that people invest because not only are they investing in me and my business but they are investing in their own health and well-being.
