We are proud to partner with Comcast to help small businesses owned by people of color (PoC) grow as they navigate the challenges of the pandemic. Comcast RISE was created to invest in the success of these critical businesses by providing valuable and practical support.
Independent small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and today, more than ever, small businesses owned by people of color are hurting. Over the past eighteen months we have had conversations with hundreds of diverse small business owners and we continue to hear about the need for additional support when it comes to marketing, technology, and funds that will help them on their path to recovery.
Intentionalist and Comcast RISE share the belief that PoC-owned small businesses are at the heart of a more connected, inclusive economy. Get to know the Comcast RISE grant recipient businesses in your community and tag us when you #SpendLikeItMatters!

Throughout the season, the D.C. United Foundation is partnering with Intentionalist to open $500 prepaid tabs at DMV small businesses. Fans are invited to explore local businesses and enjoy a free treat!

How Do I Get My Treat?
- Sign in or sign up for an Intentionalist account to redeem the offer.
- Select any of the participating businesses that you'd like. to visit
- When you’re ready to check out at the business, open the link and select the “Get A Code” button
- Show the generated QR code at the register and redeem your free treat!
Note: One item per person, while supplies last and tabs are open. Receiving a code is not a guarantee that there are still funds remaining on the tab.
