Most of our programs are free for small businesses to participate in. Our goal is to help small businesses succeed and thrive by providing partner sponsored and customer supported programs.

MLS All-Star Small Business Pass

In 2023, Intentionalist partnered with Major League Soccer, the D.C. United Foundation, and Black Players for Change on the MLS All-Star Small Business Pass. Fans were able to access deals and discounts at 30 local businesses, who were reimbursed for the cost of the promotion.

Sponsored Prepaid Tabs

Every year, with support from partners including BECU, Visit Seattle, Vulcan, and the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Intentionalist prepaid tabs at small businesses, providing community members with various free eats and treats. 2023 Tab total: $36K

Gift Certificates

In 2023, Intentionalist facilitated more than $165k ($1300 avg/business) in commission-free small business gift certificate sales

Intentionalist Card

The Intentionalist Card is a prepaid restricted-access better-than-a-gift-card for exclusive use at hundreds of participating small brick-and-mortar businesses in Washington. To become a part of the network, you can register and join for free in less than 10 minutes. Anyone may purchase a digital or physical Intentionalist Card at intentionalist.com/card.

Tabs

Intentionalist's Tabs Program supports local businesses via a prepaid tab of $150 - $500 on behalf of partners such as BECU, Visit Seattle, Seattle Sounders FC, and many others! The program encourages community members to visit these businesses and enjoy a free treat by redeeming a code on the business listing page. Community members are encouraged to order additional items and leave gratuity when possible.

Passes

Intentionalist's Small Business Passes enable customers to access free or discounted items from local businesses, with Intentionalist or a partner covering the cost. All items are prepaid or reimbursed to small businesses. View current Passes via intentionalist.com/passes.

Gift Certificates

Intentionalist’s online store includes gift certificates from hundreds of local businesses that sell their gift certificates commission-free. Once a customer purchases a gift certificate, the business is notified via email with fulfillment instructions. Payments for gift certificate sales are transferred weekly.

Products & Services

Intentionalist’s online store also includes products and services from businesses that want to engage Intentionalist’s community of intentional spenders. Customers purchase the products from the Intentionalist Store, and businesses receive an order nofitication with fulfillment instructions. Payments for orders are transferred electronically every week.

Events

Intentionalist's Events Program supports local businesses by promoting events and activities that are hosted by or benefit small businesses. Events are promoted via the Intentionalist website, social media, and email newsletter. To submit an event for promotion, visit intentionalist.com/events.
