Sweatbox Yoga was founded by Laura Culberg in 2001. Frani Assaf started at SweatBox Yoga as a student, then became a teacher, and eventually took over the studio in 2019. Over the years, SweatBox Yoga has cultivated community by teaching yoga in a supportive environment that welcomes yogis of all abilities. While the primary studio focus is Bikram (hot) yoga  their loft space offers non-heated classes.
