Glad Day Bookshop is the world’s oldest LGBTQ bookstore, established in 1970 in Toronto by activist Jearld Moldenhauer. It’s now owned by 22 community members, led by Michael Erickson. Glad Day Bookshop specializes in offering a wide selection of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, and queer literature, both in and out of print. You can also find DVDs, magazines, and gifts.
