Amruta A. Deshpande opened 100th Avenue Cakes in 2021. 100th Avenue Cakes was started with a goal of introducing complex South East Asian flavors to the rest of the world in a familiar format like cakes, macarons, tarts, entremets and other small desserts. Their specialty is to breakdown complex flavors from the Indian subcontinent and recreate and reuse in desserts such that they become accessible and enjoyable to everyone.
100th Avenue Cakes is a commercial kitchen based bakery with a pop up store that open every Sunday from 10 AM – 2 PM. At this pop up, they make sure to keep everything under $10 to keep it affordable. They also offer free Indian chai!
