Marcos de la Cadena opened Alebrijes Kitchen in 2022 to bring the spirit of Alebrijes – Mexican spirit animals – to our restaurant: rooted in Mexican cooking traditions with license to get creative with Northwest ingredients. The logo is an original Alebrije that combines a Mexican Quezacoatl style dragon with an Orca, a symbol of our region. The restaurant sources fresh, local ingredients, and make everything from scratch, including the corn tortillas. Visit to relax, enjoy a cocktail, and dine on chef/owner Marcos’ creations del día.
