Nestled in downtown Tacoma, Alfred’s Cafe occupies a historic building with a colorful past: it’s operated at various points as a tavern, saloon, cigar shop, and even (legend says) a bordello. Today, however, it’s a cozy, no-frills bar and restaurant owned and operated by Donavon Grogan and Scott Wright. 

The menu features hearty American diner food like pancakes, hashbrowns, burgers, and sandwiches. Beverage options include classic cocktails and a selection of wine and local beers. 

Bonus: They serve breakfast and brunch all day!
