Husband and wife team Shakir and Serpil Kaymaz wanted to import the unique jewelry made in their homeland of Turkey, but couldn’t get stores to put their products on the shelves. The couple were undeterred and in 1989 they opened a push-cart business that eventually evolved into Alhambra in 1990. The high-end boutique has a beautiful interior that is only outdone by the beautiful clothes that fill the space. It’s obvious Shakir, Serpil, and their team put love and attention into the curation of their products.
