The owners of Astro Coffee believe there’s two types of people who open a coffee shop: those who hope to make money and those who are following their dreams. For Daisuke Hughes and Jessica Hicks, it was definitely the latter. After learning about the art of coffee in England and Australia, the pair brought their coffee magic to Detroit and opened their coffee shop and cafe in 2011.
