Barkada
In 2017, three longtime friends opened a hip Filipino restaurant and quickly gave the special cuisine a name in the City of Angels. Owners Paul Montoya, Jay Baluyot, and Josh Robles named their restaurant after the Tagalog word for your chosen family, Barkada. Together, they’ve put together a menu of modern Filipino tapas and cocktails, and their playful take has been overwhelmingly well-received.
