Boogy and Peel blurs the line between sandwich and pizza, serving pies topped with ingredients you’d usually expect to find on an Italian sub. Owner Rachael Jennings, who opened the quirky pizzeria in 2022, isn’t concerned about keeping things authentic— instead, she wants to embrace experimentation, creativity, and playfulness. 

Forget about the pineapple-pizza debate: Rachael serves a cheeseburger-inspired pizza, topped with beef, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and a generous drizzle of special sauce, and one inspired by the classic Reuben sandwich, complete with pastrami, swiss, sauerkraut, and pickled mustard seeds. She offers vegetarian and vegan options as well as a variety of side dishes like wings and fried chicken.
