Book Larder is Seattle’s only store dedicated entirely to cookbooks. Vivian Irving became the new owner of Book Larder in 2025 to carry forward founder Lara Hamilton’s 14-year legacy. Originally from Indianapolis with a lifelong passion for collecting cookbooks, Vivian joined as Operations Manager before stepping into ownership. The Fremont shop offers a carefully curated collection of cookbooks, kitchen tools, spices, and food-inspired gifts, plus cooking classes and author events. More than a bookstore, Book Larder is a warm gathering place where food lovers discover their next culinary adventure around the big kitchen counter.
