When owner Seizi Imura returned to Boston from Berkeley to take over Cafe Sushi from his parents in the early 2000s, he had to fight people’s rigid expectations for the restaurant to make it his own. Thankfully, Imani’s passion and dedication proved to be a winning combination. Cafe Sushi is now known for its unique and innovative signature creations as well as its classic Japanese favorites, all crafted with the same fresh ingredients.
