Lizeet Bustamante and Porfirio Salazar noticed there weren’t any Mexican bakeries on the Eastside, so they opened Cafecito Mexican Bakery to bring authentic Mexican pastries to the community. Specializing in pan dulce (Mexican pastries) and cafecito (coffee), Cafecito honors the cherished Mexican tradition of enjoying these treats with loved ones. Porfirio brings his bakery expertise from Mexico, while Lizeet adds technical skills from culinary school and her experience in the restaurant industry. Together, they prioritize culture and authenticity in every recipe, creating a welcoming space where community members can connect over delicious, high-quality baked goods.
