Capital Candy Jar

When Dave Burton was in junior high his mom shared a recipe for home-made lollipops with him and together they made a few flavors. Burton took them to school and sold them to his friends and when word got out, his lollipop business took off until the school principal put an end to it. Burton’s entrepreneurial spirit and love for candy-making didn’t end there, though. 

In 2014, the Capital Candy Jar was born where Burton makes small-batch gourmet candies. Burton has expanded his recipes from his lollipop days with delicious offerings like dark chocolate-covered sea salt caramels, and gummy butterflies and flowers.
