CheBogz
Sisters Paula Paraiso and Patrixia Paraiso want to make their customers feel at home when they eat at CheBogz. Whether they are familiar with the Filipino culture or not, Paula and Patrixia’s goal is for them to look forward to eating authentic Filipino food again. Starting as a food truck, CheBogz was able to secure a brick-and-mortar space in 2023, continuing to serve family recipes. “Chibog” is a Filipino slang word that means to eat. Paula and Patrixia spelled their food truck “CheBogz” as a dedication to their parents, whose nicknames are Chez and Bogie.
Bonus: The Paraiso family also owns Manila’s Pride and Paraiso Native Filipino Restaurant.
