Business Spotlight: ChuMinh Tofu and Vegan Deli

Recommendations:

  1. I’m so lucky that Chu Minh Deli is the most walkable eatery from my North Beacon Hill home. The vegan banh mi (in many flavors) and egg rolls are my go-to pandemic comfort food. Any time I’m out and about in that direction, I swing by there on my way home. The owner/chef, Tanya Nguyen, is possibly the kindest human in Seattle. She always sends you on your way with a free eggroll and an incredible sense of well-being.

  2. The owner here is sooooo nice. She provides free food on Sunday to those who can’t afford them. I come here once in a while and she always offer me extra food so I can try them. Their sandwiches are really good too. If you are vegetarian, this is definitely the spot to go in the ID

  3. I love this restaurant. The fact that so many offerings are gluten free as well as vegan makes my life easier, and everything is delicious. I have gone with friends who were leery because they love their meat, but they wound up going back to the buffet for seconds because it is soooooo gooooooooood!

  4. I am obsessed with Chu Minh! The Bahn Mis are reliably incredible and I have always had great experiences. You can barely even tell most of the food is vegan!
