Elaine Sher founded Dash of Soy Culinary School in 2019 after retiring from tech. Seattle’s highest rated cooking school specializing in Asian cuisines, Dash of Soy began with Elaine teaching homestyle Cantonese dishes passed down from her mother. The school has since grown to a team of women of color chefs, all committed to family tradition, authentic recipes, and cultural heritage covering Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Lao, Indian, Singaporean, Taiwanese, Thai, and more. Classes are small-group (max 6), perfect for solo learners, date nights, birthdays, and team-building.
