Dhivya Balasubramanian opened DHIVYA BALA in 2019 to bring the timeless art of dressmaking to the modern woman. Operating from her Queen Anne studio in Seattle, this women-owned atelier crafts made-to-measure gowns, bridal attire, and tailored suits from fabrics as unique as each client: preloved saris, heirloom textiles, luxury silks, and sustainable cottons sourced from India. Trained in French pattern making and a former Marchesa intern, Dhivya bridges heritage and modernity in every handmade piece.
