Co-owners Jason Le and Michael Le opened Dochi in 2019 to bring Japan’s mochi doughnut experience to Seattle’s International District. After surviving a life-threatening condition, Jason was inspired to live with gratitude and channel that spirit into a business, reaching out to his longtime friend Michael to help bring the concept to life. Their chewy, glutinous rice-based doughnuts are offered in rotating creative flavors and come in a signature bubble-ring shape designed to be torn apart and shared, delivering both Japanese tradition and playful innovation in every bite.
