Donut Run

You “donut” want to miss out on these 100% plant-based doughnut! After visiting several vegan doughnut shops during their travels on the west coast, wife-and-husband team Nicole Dao and Shawn Petersen decided to open a spot of their own in DC. Donut Run started in 2016 as a pop-up shop before moving to its permanent location in 2021. 

Their always-changing menu of sweet and savory doughnuts features both classic and fun flavors like strawberry matcha, rose water, and cherry coke. Check out their Instagram, @donutrundc: they post flavors to their story daily!
