Ekadesma was founded in 2011 in Nepal by Alpaja and Anuja Rajbhandari, with a mission to preserve traditional craftsmanship and empower artisans through fair, sustainable practices. Their handmade clothing and lifestyle pieces celebrate Nepal’s cultural stories and mindful living. Ekadesma partners with skilled female artisans, ensuring fair wages, dignified work, and ethical production using natural, biodegradable fabrics and upcycling scraps to minimize waste. They opened their Seattle storefront in 2025 to create impact through craftsmanship, culture, and care, building an anti–fast fashion movement that values people and the planet above all else.
