Noriko Ho and Hannah Mason opened Emerald City Yarn on October 1, 2025 in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood. Emerald City Yarn is a yarn store focusing on knitting and crochet. They have yarn, needles, hooks, and other knit and crochet accessories. Noriko and Hannah strive to make their shop a a third place for all yarn and fiber enthusiasts, and particularly value community, inclusivity, and spreading fiber love. Their specialties are fabulous color, project help, advice, and supporting other indie businesses.
