Lois and Paul Culler founded Fair Trade Winds in 2007, bringing ethically sourced, handmade gifts to their community. The Ballard location has been open since 2014. After Lois sadly passed away from cancer, Paul and his family — including his niece, daughter, two sons, and two daughters-in-law — have continued her legacy. As members of the Fair Trade Federation, every product on their shelves is handmade by artisans in developing regions around the world, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, cultural respect, and sustainability.
