Flourish Spices and African Food

West African food is an essential part of Olajumoke Elkanah’s life, so when she moved to Oregon and discovered that the closest place to buy the ingredients she needed to cook her cultural dishes was over an hour’s drive away, she knew she needed to do something. She opened Flourish Spices and African Food in 2022 with the goal of making all the spices, snacks, and produce necessary for her favorite West African dishes affordable and accessible for all.
