At Fogón Cocina Mexicana, owner Noel Cortez serves his unique take on Mexican cuisine to diners in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. He opened the restaurant with his late nephew, José Ambriz, and developed a menu that drew from their roots in Michoacán. Noel strives to carry on his nephew’s legacy and make Fogón a safe space for all. Enjoy delicious meals with handmade tortillas and a tequila-based cocktail menu while feeling comfortable and welcomed.

Another reason to love Fogón, besides its delicious tacos and its drool-worthy brunch menu: The restaurant participates in Dining Out for Life, which supports Lifelong and other AIDS service organizations.

  1. This place is in a walkable neighborhood, close to the 11, 48 bus line and light rail station! I love to go here for their classic margaritas! Literally the best I’ve had since moving to the PNW. It’s super yummy and served in a shaker so your drink is fresh with every pour. The food también is delicious!

  2. This is such a fun spot for either brunch or dinner! Their tortillas are made out in the restaurant area, and they are so delicious. I love their huevos con chorizo and they have a wonderful selection of margaritas and drinks. It’s really fun to sit outside when it’s nice weather!
