Maria Coassin drew inspiration from her family’s 200-year baking tradition in her small hometown of Maniago, Italy when she opened Gelatiamo in 1996. Maria’s artisanal gelato was the first of its kind in Seattle, and in the decades since, she has continued to perfect the art and science of authentic small-batch Italian gelato.
