Golden Thyme Coffee & Cafe

This soul food cafe has been a fixture of Selby Avenue since it first opened in 2000! Owners Mychael and Stephanie Wright are active members of the community and proud to be part of the hub of Black-owned businesses in the area. Mychael also founded the Selby Avenue JazzFest in 2002 (evident from jazz-themed coffee drinks!) and knows many locals by name when they stop into Golden Thyme Coffee & Cafe. Stop in for grits, waffles, red beans and rice, chicken gumbo, and more!
