Judy & Rod Neldam opened Grateful Bread in 1996 to bring a bakery/restaurant/coffee shop focused on local, organic, and sustainable products to Seattle’s Wedgewood neighborhood. They serve delicious coffee, teas, and other drinks, plus breads, bagels, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches including build your own, quiche and more – all homemade! They also have awesome vegetarian and vegan choices. Grateful Bread also sells art by local artists and raw local honey. They are LGBTQ-friendly, and open seven days a week.
