Amy Yang opened Happy Food in 2024, and despite operating largely solo, Chef Amy has quickly established Happy Food as a hidden gem in Seattle’s Little Saigon neighborhood. The menu features dishes common in Taizhou, where she honed her cooking. At Happy Food, Chef Amy has created a warm, welcoming oasis where anyone can come and truly enjoy the food – her simple goal is to bring happiness through her cooking, and she succeeds with every bite.
