Mark Jacobs, owner of the Jacobs Argo stall in Pike Place Market, is a fifth generation farmer continuing a family tradition that started in Guyana in 1929. He sells locally grown organic vegetables, pickles, and baskets from Ghana. His family have farmed along the Demerara River in the village of LaRetraite for nearly a century. The family farm grows a variety of crops, including fruits, vegetables, rice, and sugarcane. Since 2020, Jacobs Argo has supported 17 food banks in three counties, contributing more than 60,000lbs of fresh produce. Stop by for fresh and delicious produce grown with love and care.
