Karachi Cowboys

In 2021 Nasir Zubair opened Karachi Cowboys along with his wife, Nicole Greenwald. The roots of Karachi Cowboys are a fusion of the Pakistani home cooking of Nasir’s father’s family and the food his African-American maternal grandparents made when he’d visit on Sundays. Nasir’s vision for Karachi Cowboys emerged through experimenting with applying Pakistani flavors, ingredients, and techniques of Texas barbecue and other cuisines. Nasir and Nicole’s goal at Karachi Cowboys is to be a part of the fabric of their neighborhood and to create community through good food and conversation.
