Rich Burton and Ton Yazici opened Locus Wines’ Seattle tasting room in November 2019 to bring their philosophy that food and wine elevate each other to life in Pioneer Square. After seven years of building a following through private wine release parties, the winemaker and chef duo created an approachable Old World-style tasting room where guests discover Washington wines crafted from cooler climate Yakima Valley and Naches Heights vineyards. With higher acidity, less oak, and a focus on food pairing, their handcrafted Syrah, Cinsault, Sémillon, and Sauvignon Blanc showcase the best of Pacific Northwest terroir in a warm, welcoming space just blocks from Lumen Field.
