Millstream Bainbridge
Millstream’s original founder Roger Fredericksen loved wood-carving, which inspired him to begin selling his pieces at farmer’s markets and fairs throughout the Seattle area. While selling at the markets, Roger befriended other local artists and creatives and decided to start a store that celebrated their talents. In 2012, Roger moved Millstream across the sound to Bainbridge Island, and it’s been the go-to spot for unique, high-quality PNW-inspired gifts and artwork ever since!Â
After Roger retired in 2020, partners Derek Villanueva and Michael Turner took over the business. Together, they’ve carried on Roger’s mission of providing beautiful pieces that highlight the Pacific Northwest’s bounty and natural beauty.Â
Bonus: Artwork isn’t all Millstream has to offer! Check out their delicious selection of locally-sourced pantry goods like coffee, syrups, and chocolates.Â
